Below, you will find answers to some most frequently asked questions. 

What is a customized curly cut?

A customized curly cut is a haircut that is performed on your hair BEFORE your head gets to the shampoo bowl. This cut allows for a more balanced shape since your curls are able to be cut where they naturally live. Your cleanse, hydration, and style are completed after your cut.  These cuts can last anywhere between 3-6 months.

Do you always cut curls dry?

Typically, most curly cuts are performed on dry hair. However, there are no ‘rules’ in art and hair! It will be dependent on what the best decision is, based on the individual needs of each guest in the chair.

How do I prepare for my curly haircut?

It's asked that you arrive for your appointment with your hair down, not pulled back with any ties or clips, and with minimal product if possible. This allows for your waves/curls to be seen in their most natural state which helps with understanding their truest personality and health condition.

What is the best way to tame frizz?

Water is always going to be your best friend when it comes to taming frizz. Getting your hair properly hydrated on the inside of your hair strands is your first step toward taming frizz.

How can I get enough water inside my hair?

Removing any build-up you have on your hair strands will be your first step to this. Once your hair is properly clarified, your hair will be able to allow more water in.

How long will it take my curls to get more hydrated?

Everyone’s journey is different so this will vary for each individual. Discipline, intention, and commitment to a good routine will play a big part in achieving your hair goals.

How can I book an appointment?

Email is the best way to reach out. Response times are typically within 12-24 hours.

Please note that emails are not responded to on Sundays. 

A 25% deposit is required to secure your chosen appointment time. You will be sent forms to review and send in your deposit once your chosen date is scheduled.

How long will my appointment take?

Timing is dependent on what service you are receiving, the length and density of your hair, and if you are requiring a drastic change.  First-time guests can expect to be at the studio for between 2-3 hours.  If you are a returning guest, your timing will depend on which package you choose. .

Do you have separate prices for kids?

The only pricing that is different is for curly kids 6 and under.  Otherwise, the prices listed are the same for everyone.

I don't see a link for online shopping anymore. How can I continue to order my Innersense products from you?

To purchase your favourite Innersense products from Momo's Head Space, please see below for 2 options to choose from.

1. Have your order come right to your doorstep!-----Simply send an email to momosheadspace@gmail.com with the details of your order and I will happily have your products delivered to you! Please include your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER within your email.

*Delivery is typically within two business days. Shipping costs apply and are dependent on where you are located.

2. You are also welcome to visit the studio to purchase your products during the times I am there. Please send your order to the same email address above with your order details.
